ILMS will assist our customers in forging closer
relationships with suppliers, especially those supplying low value-added
items, integral to manufacturing processes, yet very time consuming
to manage on a daily basis.
ILMS' OEM Parts Procurement program initially utilizes the customers
existing supplier base, until a better total value is made available.
All proposed changes to the supplier base are approved or rejected
by the customer. This allows our customers professional
staff to spend their time on more effective and strategic product
sourcing of items with a higher value.
ILMS will manage procurement of low value-added parts, reducing
the day-to-day expediting, which, in many companies, consumes
30% or more of the work effort of the purchasing or materials
group.
ILMS will facilitate planning systems, consignment programs,
Kanban systems, returnable containers, etc. to reduce the overall
cost of material procurement.
Parts will be procured by ILMS for your account, or for direct
resale to you, whichever your business situation chooses.
